The visit of the Japanese specialists EAGLE-3 program From July 31 to August 2, 2019
Within the framework of the EAGLE-3 project, the 10th technical meeting with Japanese specialists was held at the Institute of Atomic Energy Branch from July 31 to August 2. The following issues were discussed during the technical meeting:
- Status of EAGLE stand preparation for FDCO-7 experiment.
- Upcoming material science researches of the tank for melt re-filling used during the out-of-pile experiment FCO-3.
- Materials science research results of FCO-2/1 out-of-pile experiment.
- Status of preparations for out-of-pile experiments IPCO
- Post-experimental researches of the results ID5 reactor experiment.
- Status of preparations and preliminary analysis of ID6 and ID7 experiments.
- The schedule of the upcoming reactor and non-reactor researches has been agreed.
In the frame work of the visit, Japanese specialists visited EAGLE experimental stand, where state of the tank for melt re-filling was demonstrated, used in the FCO-3 experiment, the drain pipe and the material extracted from the installation after the experiment.
