LIANA TEST-BENCH
The LIANA test-bench allows conducting experiments to study interaction between hydrogen isotopes and structural materials of nuclear and thermonuclear reactors (NR and TNR) with various methods (hydrogen permeability (HP), gas absorption and thermal desorption (TDS)) at sample temperatures from 20 to 1023°C and input pressures of hydrogen isotopes up to 10 atm. In addition, the LIANA test-bench is used in experiments for studying the conversion of nuclear energy into the optical radiation energy.
Technical specifications of the test-bench:
Research temperature range ……………………………………………………………………………………………… from 20°С to 1023°С
Pressure range of hydrogen isotopes at the inlet side of the sample ………………………………… from 102 Pа to 106 Pа
Pressure range of hydrogen isotopes in the measuring path …………………………………………….. from 10-4 Pа to 10-7 Pa
The main research area at the test-bench:
– investigation of the interaction between hydrogen isotopes and structural materials of NR and TNR under neutron radiation conditions;
– investigation of the spectral and luminescent characteristics of nuclear-excited plasma under neutron radiation.
