NNC RK Delegation Participates in ABAI SCIENCE FEST Festival

A delegation of the Republican State Enterprise “National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (NNC RK) participated in the ABAI SCIENCE FEST festival held in the city of Semey at Shakarim University.

As part of the event, a meeting was held between Berik Uali, the Akim of the Abai Region, and young scientists of the region. The meeting brought together representatives of higher educational institutions, scientific organizations, the NNC RK, the Nuclear Technology Park, the Nuclear Medicine and Oncology Center, as well as other research and industrial organizations of the region.

One of the key elements of the festival was an exhibition of scientific projects and developments. It featured innovative solutions in the fields of agricultural technologies, medicine, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, nuclear technologies, ecology, and the food industry.

Representatives of the NNC RK introduced participants to the developments and activities of the enterprise. Participation in the event provided the NNC RK with an opportunity to demonstrate its scientific and technical potential, as well as to emphasize the role of nuclear science and applied technologies in the development of the region.

During the meeting, the Akim of the Abai Region highlighted the importance of strengthening scientific potential, supporting young researchers, and creating conditions for their professional growth in the region. Special attention was paid to the development of scientific infrastructure, attracting young people to research activities, and expanding cooperation between the Akimat, businesses, universities, and scientific organizations. In particular, the plans to establish a science city in Kurchatov outlined long-term prospects for the development of regional science and technology.

Following the event, it was noted that the development of regional science requires systematic coordination, support for young scientists, and a practical orientation of scientific research. The participation of the NNC RK in ABAI SCIENCE FEST became an important contribution to the promotion of scientific initiatives in the Abai Region and to strengthening cooperation between scientific organizations, educational institutions, and regional authorities.
