International Youth Scientific and Practical Conference “Physical and Technical Problems in Science, Industry and Medicine”

Between September 30 and October 04, 2019, National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University held the International Youth Scientific and Practical Conference “Physical and Technical Problems in Science, Industry and Medicine”. More than 240 applications from young scientists of Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Vietnam, Ghana and Nigeria had been submitted for participation in the Conference.    

 At the Conference, research results in the field of electrophysical installations, innovative materials and technologies for modern energy, mathematical modeling, and isotope technologies of various applications in science, technology and medicine were presented. A number of works were also devoted to radiation and beam-plasma technologies, issues of nuclear non-proliferation, nuclear safety and information technology.

The Institute of Atomic Energy was represented by Artur Surayev, Nurbolat Suleymenov – the Scientists, Department of Reactor Devices Development and Testing, and Stanislav Ilyinykh – an Engineer, Department of Monitoring and Control System Automation.
