Internal surface of vacuum chamber of KTM Tokamak is faced with graphite tails
As part of preparation of KTM Tokamak for its step-by-step output to design parameters, the works on facing of internal surface of vacuum chamber of KTM Tokamak with graphite tails are completed according to the Project. In total there were installed about 2000 graphite tails with total area of 25 m2. The tails are small plates made of graphite FP479. Completion of the work will allow to obtain more stable toroidal pinch in KTM Tokamak due to less entry of impurities into plasma with high atomic number. In outlook it will allow reaching boundary parameters of plasma charge.
