Adjustment work of KTM Tokamak

Within preparation of KTM Tokamak for physical start-up and commissioning, adjustment work of the toroidal coil power source was successfully completed, which led to achieving of a rated design current of 58 kA. Such current value provides a design value of a toroidal magnetic field of 1 T for a large radius of the facility equal to R = 0.9 m. Achieving the design value of the toroidal magnetic field is an important condition for initiating a plasma discharge (avalanche breakdown), as well as for reaching the design plasma parameters discharge of the facility.
