Visit of the delegates from the U.S. National Laboratories and SIEBTECHNIK Company
From the 1st to 5th April, the RSE NNC RK was attended by Kenneth J. Bateman, International Project Manager from the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), Michael Christian Gaines, Chief Specialist from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), and Hanh Marcel, a specialist from the SIEBTECHNIK company, Germany.
During the visit, the NNC specialists together with the experts from the U.S. national laboratories and SIEBTECHNIK company, took part in the pre-commissioning activities of the grinding system and took a look at the preparations for the transfer of the IVG.1M spent nuclear fuel to SILO storage.
The visit of the delegates from the U.S. national laboratories and SIEBTECHNIK company demonstrates the international cooperation in the field of nuclear safety and technology which underlines the high level of competence and coordination between our countries.
