Participation in a life talk show “Ashyk Alan”

On April 14, a life talk show “Ashyk Alan” on “Contribution of Nuclear Science and Nuclear Technologies to the Development of Various Economic Sector” was hosted on the “Kazakhstan” TV-channel. Yerbolat T. Koyanbayev, the Deputy Director for Material Research and Arman Zh. Miniyazov, the Head of Laboratory for Material Testing under Fusion Reactor Conditions took part in the talk show.

In the live television broadcast, participants discussed peaceful uses of the atom, mentioning, namely, that in the modern world nuclear technology is widely used not only in the defense sector but also in medicine and agriculture. In addition, experts presented the current state of nuclear science, challenges and achievements.
