Erlan Gadletovich Batyrbekov

Erlan G. Batyrbekov graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute, Moscow, Russia in 1984. In 1995, he graduated from the Wharton School of Business and Economics of the US Department of Commerce, Washington, USA. In 1996, he completed a Strategic Business Management Course, California State University, Harvard Business School, California, USA.

He is a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Expert on the Semipalatinsk Nuclear Test Site conversion, a member of a Group of Government Experts – Advisers to the UN Secretary General for Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament Verification, Coordinator of the FNCA (Forum of Nuclear Cooperation in Asia) from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of a Working Group in the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).

E.G. Batyrbekov has 7 copyright certificates and innovative patents for inventions and utility models. He is the author and co-author of more than 200 scientific articles and reports at International scientific conferences, more than 40 of which have been published in international rating publications included in the Thomson Reuters International Database (Web of Science).

Research interests: research in the field of nuclear energy safety, radiation materials science, development of technological foundations for obtaining new materials.

Viktor Vladimirovich Baklanov
First Deputy Director, PhD

Vicktor V. Baklanov graduated from the East-Kazakhstan State University (EKR, Ust-Kamenigirsk) in 2000 majoring in Physics, qualification is Engineer Physicist. In 2009, he received a diploma in Management from the Open University MIM LINK. In 2017, he completed the postgraduate program at NR TPU with a degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. V.V. Baklanov is the author and co-author of more than 70 published scientific papers, has 5 patents for invention and utility model.

Research interests: research in the field of radiation materials science, studies for nuclear reactor safety, development of technological foundations for obtaining new materials.










 

Koyanbaev E.T.

Yerbolat Taytoleuovich Koyanbayev
Deputy Director for Material Research

In 1999, Yerbolat T. Koyanbayev graduated from the Natural Sciences Faculty of the Semey State University with a degree in physics, qualification – Physicist, Teacher of Physics with the practical specialization in “Physicist Researcher”. In 2013, he started the master’s degree in the Semey Shakarim State University in Technical Physics. In 2015, upon graduation the master’s courses, he was awarded a Master of Technical Science degree. Ye.T. Koyanbayev is the author and co-author of more than 40 published scientific papers, has 3 patents for invention and utility model.

Research interest: research in the field of radiation materials science, development of technological foundations for obtaining new materials.

Vycheslav Sergeyevich Gnyrya
Deputy Director for Tests

Vyacheslav S. Gnyrya joined the “Institute of Atomic Energy” Branch, RSE NNC RK in 2000 after graduation from the Physics and Technology Faculty of Tomsk Polytechnic University with a degree in Nuclear Reactors and Power Facilities, qualification is Engineer-Physicist. In 2017, he started the postgraduate course at NR TPU majoring in Condensed Matter Physics. V.S. Gnyrya is the author and co-author of over 50 published scientific efforts.

Research interest: comprehensive material research for nuclear and fusion reactors, research for nuclear power safety, development and practical application of regulatory and technical documentation for operating reactors and experimental facilities.

Alexander Genadyevich Korovikov
Chief Engineer, PhD

In 2000, Alexander G. Korovikov graduated from the Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (Tomsk) with a degree in Industrial Electronics, qualification is Electronics Engineer. In 2009, he obtained a Diploma of Management from the Open University IIM LINK. In 2013, he completed postgraduate studies at NR TPU with a degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. In 2017, following the nostrification he was awarded a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Automation and Control. A.G. Korovikov is the author and co-author of over 30 published scientific efforts.

Research interest: process flow automation, information security.
