Devoting your life to scientific-research and active scientific and pedagogical activity, you are completely dedicated to work. A significant part of research by you and your students is devoted to the issues of radiation material science and solid state physics. You have vast experience in research and development to improve the safety of atomic energy, in experimental modeling of emergency situations at atomic power plants with core melting, in the development and improvement of measuring instruments and methods for diagnosing high-temperature plasma for research at the KTM tokamak. The results of your research have received wide international recognition by domestic and foreign scientists.
You have more than 40 years of scientific and pedagogical work, which you successfully use in training specialists, shaping their high professional literacy in accordance with the highest level of modern education and science. Behind you there are: participation in international scientific conferences on the problems of radiation materials science, solid state physics, materials of nuclear and thermonuclear power plants and on the decommissioning of nuclear reactors, radioactive waste management, the peaceful use of atomic energy and the publication of more than 300 papers in world ratings and domestic publications, 6 monographs, 50 copyright certificates and pre-patents for inventions and utility models. Thanks to your initiatives, scientific research is being conducted at the highest level at the Institute of Atomic Energy today on the development of nuclear energy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, structural materials for thermonuclear energy, a completely new and promising direction for us – hydrogen energy, scientific projects are being conducted based on grant funding.
You have successfully combined your scientific activities at the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the leadership and active support of young scientists. You gave a lot of strength and energy to training personnel for the nuclear industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is confirmed by a whole galaxy of young and talented scientists. You were the supervisor of 7 candidates of physical and mathematical sciences in the specialty of Condensed Matter Physics and 13 PhDs, many of whom continue to work within the walls of the Institute of Atomic Energy.
Your boundless capacity for work speaks of the unique versatility of your talent. You have been deservedly awarded high prizes, titles and memberships in world organizations, societies and program committees of many international conferences, emphasizing your significant contribution to domestic science.
