18th Internship for Young Scientists from the CIS Countries
From May 25 to June 23, the 18th Internship of Young Scientists from the CIS Countries was held in Dubna (Moscow Region), organized by the International Innovation Center for Nanotechnology of the CIS (ICNT CIS) with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. The Internship participants were the researchers aged 22 to 35 from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The internship program included excursions to all the laboratories of the Institute, lectures and consultations of the leading scientists, where they reported on achievements in the field of basic study and interdisciplinary approaches in JINR scientific research. The Internship also included visits to the Dubna Special Economic Zone, innovative enterprises in the city, and Dubna State University.
The gained knowledge and experience will allow the participants to expand the used methods and find new contacts for the future scientific activities.
