Congratulations on receiving the academic title of Associate Professor!

We extend our sincere congratulations to Yerzhan Yernatuly Sapatayev, Head of Laboratory of Radiation Materials Science, and Artur Sergeevich Surayev, Leading Researcher of  Laboratory for Thermophysical and Neutronic Studies of Irradiation Devices, on being awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the scientific field 10200 – Physical Sciences. The corresponding order No. 1478, dated August 26, 2025, issued by the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been published on the official website.

Yerzhan Sapatayev has been working at the “Institute of Atomic Energy” branch, RSE NNC RK since 2013. His primary research interests include the study of the structure and properties of fuel and structural materials for nuclear and fusion energy. He is a co-author of more than 50 scientific publications.

Artur Surayev has been working at the “Institute of Atomic Energy” branch, RSE NNC RK since 2012. His primary research interests include computational support for reactor testing of nuclear fuel for advanced power reactors carried out at the research reactors of the RSE NNC RK, as well as the development and improvement of computational methods used to justify safety of reactor experiments. He is a co-author of over 60 scientific publications.
