Competition for Vacant Positions

On November 28, 2025, “Institute of Atomic Energy” branch of Republican State Enterprise on the basis of economic control right “National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan” of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy announces a competition for filling vacant positions:

Head of the Laboratory of Hydrogen and Plasma Technologies (Laboratory 251)

Qualification requirements:

• Higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant field of training.
• Academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy or Candidate of Sciences.
• At least 3 years of scientific and organizational work experience.
• Presence of scientific publications in rated domestic and international journals with a non-zero impact factor in the field of the laboratory’s work.
• Conducting experimental research and supervising technical preparation.

Professional skills:

• Control of measuring instruments.
• Conducting experimental work and research in accordance with the laboratory profile.
• Ensuring compliance with work regulations, labor safety, and fire safety.
• Supervision of technical preparation of production.

Personal qualities:

• Responsibility.
• Ability to make prompt and effective decisions.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Punctuality.

To participate in the competition, by December 12, 2025, candidates must submit the following documents to the Scientific Secretary of the IAE branch of the RSE NNC RK:

• Application to the competition committee requesting participation;
• Copy of higher education and postgraduate diplomas (if applicable) with attachments;
• Reference or recommendation from the last place of employment (if available);
• Copy of document verifying work experience;
• Resume;
• List of scientific publications (Form F2.3).
