Reactor Technologies 2021

During the period of November 16-18, 2021 on the basis of the RSE NNC RK, the online FTC Reactor Engineering Follow-up Training Course was held via ZOOM platform. It was seventh Reactor Engineering course since 2015. This year, 16 participants took part in the training.

Since 2018, representatives of regional universities with cooperation agreements in the field of personnel training have been invited to participate in the follow-up training course. This year is no exception and the event was attended by teachers from Semey Shakarim State University, Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University and Daulet Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University.

In order to organize the course, NNC’s experts were attracted as coordinators, instructors and lecturers of the course. Most of the experts among the coordinators and lecturers passed the Instructor Training Program in the JAEA. The course program incuded lectures by the experts from NNC and the lecturer from Japan Atomic Energy Agency, Dr. Hideo Harada, who made a presentation on the topic “Reactor Physics”.

All participants in the when training showed a sufficient level of knowledge and qualification, who confirmed the results of the input and final inspection and were very involved in the educational process. All participants were awarded the certificates for successful completion of the course.
