Trial start-up of the IVG.1M

On September, 27, 2017 a trial start-up of the IVG.1M reactor have been carried out for operational capability testing of the systems and components in real running conditions. An upgraded information and measuring system of the reactor as well as two experimental WCTC-LEU were tested in the experimental operation mode with low-enriched fuel in the reactor core. In the course of the trial start-up the reactor was briefly outputted to a power of 1 kW, 100, kW, 300 kW, 1MW and 3 MW respectively and all reactor systems operated properly.
