Modern Radiation Safety Systems at NPPs
In an interview with Todayinfo.kz, Aleksandr Korovikov, Chief Engineer of the Institute of Atomic Energy Branch of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NNC RK), discussed modern radiation safety systems at nuclear power plants.
He highlighted defense-in-depth safety systems, continuous radiation monitoring, digital technologies, and personnel training, which together ensure a high level of safety for modern NPPs.
